Overview
This directive outlines a promotion by the Michigan Bureau of State Lottery (Bureau) that begins on February 4, 2014 and ends on July 5, 2024. During the promotional period, participants may access and play an interactive game through either a personal computer with an Internet connection or with a mobile device using the Michigan Lottery Wild Time mobile app. By submitting a unique Entry Code from eligible non-cash prize winning Wild Time instant game tickets, participants may access and play the interactive game for chances to win entries into a second chance drawing or instant ticket coupons.
Definitions
- Eligible Ticket - a non-cash prize winning ticket from game any of the following games:
- $20 game #343 - Millionaire Wild Time (added September 1, 2020)
- $5 game #388 – Wild Time Deluxe (added April 6, 2021)
- $10 game #389 - Wild Time Supreme (added June 1, 2021)
- $20 game #394 – Wild Time Millions (added September 7, 2021)
- $10 game #433 – Ruby Red Wild Time (added September 27, 2022)
- Entry Code –refers to the unique 10-character alpha-numeric code printed on Eligible Tickets.
- Extra Symbol– means:
Up to one (1) Extra Symbol may be revealed among the sixteen (16) Play Spots initially selected by a participant who has submitted either a $10 or $20 Eligible Ticket. When revealed, this symbol allows the participant to select and reveal four (4) additional Play Spots, for a total of twenty (20) Play Spots revealed from a grid of twenty-eight (28) Play Spots. - Game Number - the 3-digit number printed on the front and back of each instant game ticket.
- Interactive Game - the Internet and mobile-based game offered to participants in this promotion.
- Instant Bonus -the Play Spot that appears on all Interactive Games, separate from the Main Play Area, and is functional only when an Entry Code from a $20 Eligible Ticket is submitted. The game consists of one (1) Play Spot and when tapped reveals either a prize amount or Not A Winner.
- Interactive Game Outcome - the combination of Play Symbols, Prize Symbol and Multiplier Symbols revealed and the corresponding prize that is assigned to each Entry Code.
- Main Play Area– The primary play grid containing twenty-eight (28) covered positions in the Interactive Game play area behind which one (1) Play Symbol, Multiplier Symbol, or Extra Symbol is hidden. Play Spots are arrayed in a grid pattern measuring four (4) columns by seven (7) rows.
- Multiplier Symbols - means:
Up to three (3) Multiplier Symbols will be revealed among the Play Spots selected by a participant. - Play Symbols - means:
- Play Spot - means each of twenty-nine(29) positions in the Interactive Game play area behind which one (1) Play Symbol, Prize Symbol, Multiplier Symbol, or Extra Symbol is hidden. In the Main Player Area, Play Spots are arrayed in a grid pattern measuring four (4) columns by seven (7) rows. Prize Symbols will only appear behind the Instant Bonus Play Spot.
- PlayWildTime.com - the website created for this promotion that provides participants with all the functionality necessary to participate in the promotion from a personal computer.
- Prize Spot -means:
- Wild Time App- the mobile device application created for this promotion that provides participants with all the functionality necessary to participate in the promotion from a mobile device. The app is only compatible with Apple and Android devices and can be downloaded for free from each device's respective online store.
Promotion Description
- A participant can gain access and play the Interactive Game in any of the following ways:
- By accessing www.MichiganLottery.com via a personal computer and either logging into his or her existing Michigan Lottery account or by registering as a new member, and then selecting the hyperlink specifically developed for the purpose of accessing the Interactive Game.
- By accessing www.playwildtime.com via a personal computer and either logging into his or her existing Michigan Lottery account or by registering as a new member.
- By downloading and installing to an Apple or Android powered device the Wild Time App and either logging into his or her existing Michigan Lottery account or by registering as a new member.
- A participant will be required to have a Michigan Lottery account and submit one (1) eligible Entry Code in order to access and play the Interactive Game. Each number sequence allows the participant to play the game one (1) time.
- Each Interactive Game Outcome is predetermined and governed by the Entry Code submitted by the participant.
- All Interactive Games that are interrupted can be replayed by selecting the Complete Previous Games menu option
- Only Entry Code found on Eligible Tickets will activate the Interactive game.
- Each eligible Entry Code has been pre-assigned one (1) Interactive Game Outcome and is good for one (1) Interactive Game play, regardless of the method used to access the game.
- Only the number of eligible Entry Code submitted by the participant limits the number of drawing entries or instant game coupons he or she can win in this promotion.
- Each participant may view the Entry Code that he or she has submitted and the history of the prizes he or she has won, if any, by viewing the Account History screen in the Wild Time app or by logging into his or her Michigan Lottery account and accessing the appropriate page in the PlayWildTime.com promotional website.
- Participants may select a "Try It" version of the interactive game. Having a Michigan Lottery account and a Code Sequence is not required to access the "Try It" version of the Interactive Game. Prizes are not awarded in this version of the game.
Interactive Game Description
- The Interactive Game play area will consist of the Main Play Area that includes twenty-eight (28) Play Spots arrayed in a grid pattern measuring four (4) columns by seven (7) rows, and one (1) Instant Bonus Play Spot.
- Play begins by the participant tapping or clicking any one (1) of the twenty-eight (28) Play Spots to reveal the Play Symbol, Multiplier Symbol, or Extra Symbol hidden behind. The participant continues to select Play Spots in any order until a total of sixteen (16) have been revealed. Participants who reveal an Extra Symbol will continue to select Play Spots in any order until a total of twenty (20) have been revealed.
- The Instant Bonus Play Spot is activated only with an Entry Code from a $20 Eligible Ticket. For all other Eligible Tickets, the Play Spot is disabled
- After the participant reveals all of their allotted Play Spots the game will conclude and any prizes won will be determined according to the appropriate prize table listed below:

- For games played with an Entry Code from a $5 or $10 Eligible Ticket, participants who reveal a winning outcome and one (1) or more Multiplier Symbols will receive a total prize amount equal to the prize value multiplied by the value of the highest Multiplier Symbol revealed.
- For games played with an Entry Code from a $20 Eligible Ticket, participants who reveal a winning outcome and one (1) or more Multiplier Symbols and/or an Instant Bonus game prize will receive a total prize amount calculated as:
Total Prize Amount = (Prize value in Main Play Area* Value of highest Multiplier Symbol revealed) + Instant Bonus game prize amount - At the conclusion of each Interactive Game, a message will be displayed indicating that the game outcome resulted in either a non-winning experience or a prize winning experience along with the total prize amount associated with that outcome.
- At any time during the game, a participant may select the Auto Pick button. Selecting the Auto Pick button does not affect the Interactive Game outcome.
- Drawing entries awarded will be consigned to the Wild Time Second Chance Drawing and are subject to the Rules and Drawing Procedures of that contest.

Coupon Prizes
- Instant ticket coupons awarded in this promotion will be automatically sent to the prizewinner's email address on record in his or her Michigan Lottery account. The coupon will be in an electronic format that is printable from the prizewinner's computer.
- Coupons are redeemable one (1) time only at any licensed Michigan Lottery instant games retailer and must be redeemed by the expiration date printed on the coupon.

Drawing Entries
- Drawing entries awarded in this promotion will be automatically consigned to the Wild Time Second Chance Drawing.
- Entries are valid for one (1) drawing period. At the conclusion of each weekly drawing, all entries will be deleted from the drawing pool.
- Drawings will be conducted each Wednesday during the promotional period. The deadline to receive entries into a weekly drawing pool is twenty-four (24) hours prior to the drawing date.
- In each drawing five (5) winners will be selected to receive one hundred dollars ($100) worth of free instant tickets.
Eligibility
All participants must be a resident of the state of Michigan and have a Michigan Lottery account to be eligible for this promotion. An officer or employee of the Bureau or any spouse, child, brother, sister, or parent residing as a member of the same household in the principal place of abode of an officer or employee or a contractor or subcontractor of the Bureau is not eligible to participate in this promotion. Additionally, participation in the promotion must occur from within the boundaries of the state of Michigan. And, all participants must be at least 18 years of age or older.
Promotion Duration
- Eligible Tickets from game #343 - Millionaire Wild Time may be submitted from September 1, 2020 through June 5, 2023. Millionaire Wild Time instant game tickets sold after the final entry deadline of June 5, 2023 will not be eligible for this promotion.
- Eligible Tickets from game #389 - Wild Time Supreme may be submitted from June 1, 2021 through April 3, 2023. Wild Time Supreme instant game tickets sold after the final entry deadline of April 3, 2023 will not be eligible for this promotion.
- Eligible Tickets from game #388 - Wild Time Deluxe may be submitted from April 6, 2021 through August 9, 2023. Wild Time Deluxe instant game tickets sold after the final entry deadline of August 9, 2023 will not be eligible for this promotion.
- Eligible Tickets from game #394 – Wild Time Millions may be submitted from September 7, 2021 through September 3, 2024. Wild Time Millions instant game tickets sold after the final entry deadline of September 3, 2024 will not be eligible for this promotion.
- Eligible Tickets from game #433 – Ruby Red Wild Time may be submitted from September 27, 2022 through July 5, 2024. Ruby Red Wild Time instant game tickets sold after the final entry deadline of July 5, 2024 will not be eligible for this promotion.
- Upon reasonable notice, the Commissioner may announce a change to this or any other promotion offered by the Bureau at any time.
Governing Law
- All decisions made by the Commissioner including prize declaration and prize distribution are final and binding on every person making a claim.
- This promotion in no way alters the Bureau's other directives except as provided herein.
- This promotion is subject to Lottery rules, directives and state law and any prospective and uniform changes thereof.
